You tell me, especially when the only method of seeing the difference is by pausing and zooming in on a replay. It's ridiculous. What's wrong with 2X? Is it not detailed enough? Maybe next time I will add all the minor league clubs, I'll sharpen every logo down to the friggin stitching, and I'll do every friggin throwback uniform there is in this game, compile it into an installer. Then, MAYBE then we can talk about some stupid details. I'll tell you what. 4X is good enough quality, yes, but at the expense of filespace, I'm not willing to risk it. I don't want to fork up another few hundred MBs of space because of HIGH RES stuff. One 4X uniform uncompressed I would think is 7MB. 7MB gives me about 2-3 teams on 2X. Compressed it would be as big as a 4 2X jerseys combined, with compression. I'm sure most people play in 800x600, some in 1024x768, but surely not 1600x1200, and not everybody has UBER L337 specs, not everyone has a quint-core processor, not everyone has 10 gigs of ram and 1 terabyte of friggin hard drive space. My computer is 4 years old already and I have not upgraded it since. I'm not upgrading it for the sake of seeing 24X uniforms. If I wanted to see 24X uniforms, I'd watch the World Series on FOX in 1080p High Definition, on MUTE. We've already modded stadiums as far as we can to the point of them crashing. I don't understand, what's the problem? I'm sorry, I'm just annoyed, but I've had it.aaah, good times. XD and NYM, everybody shouldn't jump on your back like that, it's not really your fault, but maybe people think that the mods good enough. people have already spent half of their life devoted for this thing (it doesn't even pay!), and then after they do all this, you say that the old stuff wasn't so good, let's pay attention "to detail". and kraw, what do you mean by "The Wrigley one"? i was talking about for mvp 07. if it ever happens. NYM, the only reason you started this thread is to make yourself feel important. It has been implied in numerous posts that Kraw was going to put this together. I guess spammers really don't use the search function. Lets all calm down and let Kraw put this thing together. I don't care if I have to wait until October of 2007, because I know Krawhitham will iron out every glitch, and make this great game as perfect as humanly possible. MVP 06 is one hell of a mod, I'm just not understanding why I'd want to make uniforms so detailed you can see the food stain on the undershirts. It's ridiculous, especially now with 2X uniforms that have been causing people problems, 4X would increase the problem even more. I have 2 versions of my uniforms out already and I don't want to release another because it should be more detailed. I want detail? I watch baseball on TV in HD. This post, all I saw was you reaching: I understand that you have your ideas for a new version of the MVP 07 mod which is great and all, but since you said you want this version to be the best next-gen edition or whatever, using the words "we" and whatnot, modders like yours truly, Kraw, Hory and everyone involved with the project feel like you are trying to grab this project by the horns. You stated let's pay attention to detail, detailed this, detailed that, etc. I got annoyed because well, the purpose of me releasing version 1.10 of my uniforms was not for my health, I re-edited all 162 uniforms with newer textures for the sake of detail. The MVP 06 mod itself was released for the purpose of being more detailed than the original game ever was. The stadiums themselves are re-done for the purpose of being more detailed, same with Cyberfaces, Audio, Portraits, Frontend Art and loading screens (which I will let your statement of calling them "stupid" slide). The point I'm trying to drive here is this: What more could we add to MVP 07 that we have not already done with MVP 06 and mods post MVP06?
