Campo09
Mets and the Yanks in the same division...that would make for some fun times! Thats why i dont think it would work, you would have to move a team like Boston or Toronto. SFFL, I hate the BCS, Goddamn, I wish that wasnt there NO more DH, unfair advantage to any AL team. ronmexico
If I could change one thing in sports I would make it mandatory for bi-weekly testing so no player could come off a steroid cycle. I would also mandate blood tests so that way there would be no blood doping and use of HGH.

So there's no way to prevent it's use...

HGH is testable for blood tests, it's not testable in urine tests, hence the Selig talks of "it's not possible" because they can't get rights for blood tests...blah blah blah, some moral issues. Here is a link to the Olympics using blood testing for HGH. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5538709/ Little tidbits about HGH if anyone wants to look, if you want some real in depth stuff and a good sports book, check out Game of Shadows, the highly controversial book by Mike Fainaru Wada and Lance Williams. http://www.wada-ama.org/en/dynamic.ch2?pageCategory.id=

No, not to sound too radical, but, this is kinda a propoganda campaign when he preaches about there being no test. He's strategically leaving out parts of the story. Bud Selig does not really wanna show how little power he has to go against the Players Union. Just remember that they wouldn't do anything about steroids until Congress got involved. sfgiantsflgators
QOD: In your opinion, what is the best All-Time Sports video game? Since it's probably agreed that "MVP Baseball 2005" is the best overall, due to modifications by the people on this site, I'll go with my favorite stock game: 1a. Tiger Woods 2005-07 1b. Super Tecmo Bowl 1c. Madden 06 (for anything but 360)
DJEagles
For me, my all-time favorite was the first Triple Play baseball for the Sega Genesis...also, loved NHL 94.

Klesko174
QOD: In your opinion, what is the best All-Time Sports video game? I personally like MLB 2001 for PS1. I also like the Madden and NBA 2k Series. But my all-time favorite game is Super Mario Bros. for the Super Nintendo.
ronmexico
MVP 2005, because it can be modded so nicely. If I have to take a game as is from the company it's probably Madden 2007, because it's so good and can't be modded.
D-Unit
I would say the All-Star Baseball Series. I loved it and played it for years and years. Then MVP tied it up. I started playing that in 2004.
fred13
MVP 05 or Triple Play 99. I'm gonna have to go with MVP 05 though. Last week I played the original game on PS2 and I was just shocked by how much better my version is on PC due to the mods available here. I can't even remember my life before MVPmods anymore

I've never seen it that way, they don't take out features, just add onto it, so what makes an older game a better version of it?

I've never seen it that way, they don't take out features, just add onto it, so what makes an older game a better version of it? FIFA '97 had an indoor soccer mode, which was awesome. So they don't always keep the same mode. Me, I'm all about RBI Baseball and the original Ken Griffey.

Triple Play was the first baseball game I played on PC, and I just loved it, they had an actual home run derby not the "showdown" and also I just loved the fell of the game itself and the menus and whatnot. fred13
Me, I'm all about RBI Baseball and the original Ken Griffey. I have the original Ken Griffey for SNES. I always used to be the braves for some reason. Also one of my friends had RBI baseball in this 160 games in one thing for NES. Good times, I would be the 2 toned blue team and pretend to be the Jays.
