PC Newbie

I've loved playing the game on Xbox and have used this site to mod it that way, but I recently got the PC version and want to make that cool too.

Am I better off going through all the mods individually and trying to pick out which best fits or should I got with an all-in-one package (I think that's what it is) like MVP '06?

Are there any must-haves? Any things that I should look for?

I'm not gonna ask how to do them because I'm pretty sure that there are directions or tutorials elsewhere that I will need to read so I know how to do it and don't screw anything up.

Thanks for the help!

Basically, it depends on how much time you want to spend on modding your game. If you got a lot of spare time, I suggest you install the mods seperately. That way you can adjust them both to your system and to your personal liking. However, if you want to take the fast lane instead, MVP:06 is the mod for you.

Well, what exactly are you looking for? Just go through the downloads section. Sure, it takes much time to browse each category, but it's worth it.

Well I want to take the time because I want it to be good. I have spare time here and there that I'll use to work on it.

I love the dynasty mode, playing is 2nd to me. I like having the sweet appearance, but anything related to the franchise is bigger for me. Updated rosters, updated salaries, minors, progression... all that stuff.

I'm pretty decent at the game because of Xbox, not sure how that translates into PC because I haven't tried playing yet. I wanna mod it first, but anyway are there sliders or anything like that to up the difficulty just a bit or make it realistic?

well, then you'd probably want to download all the specific mods you want to make it exactly how you want it: i highly reccomend both Ultimate rosters and kg baseball's rsoter overhaul. both are excellent. also, don't forget to download kccitystar's total mlb uniform pack, along with all the other unis you want. HOWEVER: the advantage of having mvp 06 is that you get all the newest stadiums installed instead of having to go through every one, since basically all the stadiums have had some minor tweaking. The same goes for cyberfaces, as there are ALOT, and alot need them. hope that helps!

btw, if you want a specific CTS screen created for your liking, let me know. ;)

how to install them or make them? to install them, no real tutorials, some readme's should tell how to do it. if the readmes don't say it the cyberfaces should be able to be downloaded via EAGraph, if you know how to do that.

Thank you!

Ok, I started looking at some of the mods and I am blown away! There are so many choices for each "option" (rosters, team pages, etc), am I able to do more than one or do I have to pick one?

How does the classic stuff work? Like the rosters and uni's and stuff like that.

How do I tell which ones are good too? I appreciate the guy above who recommended a few things, I like that and appreciate it.

Finally, is it easy to swtich even if I choose like say an overlay, can I switch to another one? Thanks!
