Playoff rotations

With the playoff teams mod and the team changer in place all I awnt to be able to do now is make teams go with a 3-man rotation the way they do in real life. Is there anything I can do to adjust each team as necessary so that they all get the correct starting pitchers instead of 4th and 5th positions in the rotation don't automatically pitch? It always ends up being a 4th or 5th pitcher in an important game.

Can anyone help?

in the playoffs? i just pick my pitchers manually when i sim/play the game. and you don't have to have it exactly as the schedule goes, if there's a pitcher you want to pitch and that has full stamina, you can pitch him if you want.

Yeah, that would be cool to have 3 or 4 man rotations for the playoffs automatically, but like abc006 I just do it manually and skip the fourth or fifth guy in my rotation.

If your the team on the right of the screen when you're picking your pitcher/adjusting lineups just hit left with your controller. And vice-versa if you're controlling the team on the left. If you're using a mouse just switch the players how you would switch yours: click on two of them and hit the "swap" button I believe.

edit: There's no option like you say, you just do it.

Can anyone tell me where exactly the option is in playoff mode to adjust CPU lineups and rotations? I can't seem to make changes to anyone other than my team.

Right before you begin the game (either playing, managing, or simulating) - it gives you a chance to change your rotation and lineup - well on the SAME SCREEN on the other side of the screen, is the same info for your opponent - and you can change it just like you'd change yours.

i know, i never understood why it let you do that... put all the utility men in for game 7 of the world series...

For the same reason you can set the difficulty on 'rookie' and the sliders to your advantage.

More control is a good thing.

Thank you all for all your help! This has literally been one of my best experiences receiving answers from a post I made. And it's cause all of you did exactly what I think forums are for: communication and exchange of ideas.

Anyway, you guys all rock, and thanks again!

Just one more thing...

Is there anything that can be done about controlling the starters for the other series which you don't control?

Example:

- I used "team changer" to go into all 8 teams and set them up with real lineups.

- I'm the Mets, I play the Dodgers first.

- Over in the Yanks-Tigers series, the pitchers I've set up to be the first pitchers for both teams don't start the game for some reason. Don't know why but it's happening. Also, in my series, the pitcher select screen before the game highlites the 4th or 5th pitchers for both me or the Dodgers. I have to manually select both number one pitchers or else it'll go with the others. Can't make sense of it.

So... question is:

Do I have to once again take control of a team in each series and simulate to make sure nothing goes wrong with the pitchers throughout the playoffs?
