xiberger
I was very surprised to see the Devil Rays sweep the Rockies in the World Series. They've got excellent pitchers, but their lineup looks sort of weak. If you want to see their rosters, click here. btw, I will soon post a list of the Dodgers who retired after the season. xiberger
Ok, here are the players who called it quits after the 2005 season. Actually fewer than I expected. ;-) MLB Level: Barry Bonds finishes his career with 740 home runs, falling 15 short of Hank Aaron's all-time record. He also didn't reach the 3000-hit mark or the 2000-RBI mark. What a shame... AAA Level: LF B.J. Surhoff, 2B Terry Shumpert, and RP John Franco also retired after having a couple of appearances for the Dodgers in 2005.
