tribefanisu2003
Hello, all. I have a copy of MVP 05 for pc coming in the mail very soon. I've already gone through and read many posts, downloaded several mods, just to be ready once it gets here. I think I'm going with kg's roster overhaul, the MLB on FOX overlays (was looking for an STO (SportsTime Ohio), but none have been made yet that I could find.), Total Audio, Portraits. Very much looking forward to the experience that it sounds like MVP 05 for the PC is with all the mods! Anyway, my question is concerning portraits and cyberfaces. From what I've gathered, it sounds like using Portrait Maker, and jogar's cyberface tutorial, and MVPedit, you basically make all your edits, get them imported into the roster database, then start the game, and reset rosters. What I'm wanting to do is make about 3 or 4 of my friends and I, with portraits and cyberfaces. Then, I'll start my owner mode or dynasty. Here's my question: Can I (and I assume so) save that roster file somewhere, so that, once the offseason is over and there's undoubtedly a new roster file out with all the new transactions made, I can start a new owner mode or dynasty with the updated rosters, but then import the 4-5 players I made? I know I'm going to want to play quite a bit during the offseason, so by the time the new season starts, my rosters will by then be outdated. So I'd really like to be able to bring my four or five created players over to whatever new roster file there is once the offseason's over. Hope this all makes sense. Thanks in advance for your help. I've tried to look up as much as I possibly can before posting anything, due to how new I am at this. I assumed it'd be a matter of time before I HAD to post a "newbish" question! :)
kgbaseball
That can all be done with MVPEdit. Once you get to learn that program, you can create you and your friends using it, and then save the files, called .mep files. Then you can import those whenever you want into which ever roster you want.

tribefanisu2003
Wow....awesome. Thanks for the quick help guys. From reading all the other threads I've read, it looks as though the MVPmods community is very helpful, and, more importantly, understanding with us PS2 converts! Thanks again for the quick replies and help. I'm glad you posted the link to the other thread...I had been trying to find somewhere on how to add the audio as well. Kraw's installer thingy is another thing I've already downloaded in preparation. From what I've read, it's a very useful tool.
tribefanisu2003
P.S. I like the sig, KG. I really wish the "Crowe to 2b" experiment could have worked out, but it sounds like he'll be a good outfielder/possible leadoff man in the future for the Tribe, at least! (Sorry to go a bit off topic)
kgbaseball
He's been playing left in the AFL, because obviously Grady has CF locked up for a long time. I think he'll be just fine wherever he plays ;)
