Dagger147
. Well I have seen the same image with a different banner. Plus open the image up in a hex editor, it has photoshop all over it New York Post article about banner: http://www.nypost.com/seven/11022006/news/...gton.htm?page=0 From the article: Staff Sgt. Erik Holtan, a member of the Minnesota National Guard, says he saw the picture and recognized the insignia as that of his fellow Minnesota guardsmen - and he immediately put it up on his own blog site. "It's awesome," he told The Post. "The troops over there have to be livid because of what [Kerry] said. I don't know why he would say that." Holtan, who works at Guard headquarters, said he believes the troops behind the Kerry sign are in Iraq, since all the members of the unit in the shot - the 1/34 Brigade Troops Battalion - have been deployed. He said he can see a unit insignia on one of the vehicles in the background and those vehicles have also gone to Iraq.

jogar84
Heres is the truth about John Kerry's feelings about an all-volunteer army: "I am convinced a volunteer army would be an army of the poor and the black and the brown," Kerry wrote. "We must not repeat the travesty of the inequities present during Vietnam. I also fear having a professional army that views the perpetuation of war crimes as simply 'doing its job.' http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/headli...cs/4305957.html No, I will never let this go. I come from a family of WWII vets, and this liberal elitist is a fraud, a hypocrite, and a lier. I may hate Bush, but this man is even worse. Thank God he didnt win in 2004. Edam
"These are the words 34 years ago of a 28-year-old veteran home from a war gone wrong, wondering who in America will bear the cost of battle and shoulder the responsibility of military service." golfguy10
Jogar - got any blood serving over there? My son - 2 tour E5 101st Airborne - will fill your head as to why we shouldn't be there. Does he believe we should quit? Fuc* No. He was raised better but the truth of the whole matter is Alfred E. Bush allowed his cronies to fabricate that Iraq was a hotbed. They were wrong but now his same cronies who lobbied to fire the guys on his staff that told the truth ( Powell and Shiseski ) are forced to deal with what these guys knew was true. Unfortunately, georgey can't fess up and now has nobody in his staff that believes we can be successful. They are all saying the same thing Shiseski said "10 years and even then little progress........." So I dig your support for the liars because it tells me your a stand-up dude but when you have to hear the BS your kid has to go through because the leadership is incompetent. I'm sorry. Besides Kerry's comments are more a comment about this nation's employment situation where high paying jobs are being out-sourced and nobody ( dems and pubs ) have the balls to enact legislation to prevent it or ensure taxes are lieved to cover the displaced workers. Georgy's Dad started Nafta, Clinton brought India in and Alfred goes on vacation. It's time to stop this ****.

abc006
well, in my opinion, no necessarily. obviuosly, i'm not in the military and don't know anyone in the military, but for the most part the reason these soldiers are in the army i'm guessing is not to necessarily "fight abroad, kill people, and see the world", but to get an education and healthcare and the like. JoltinJoeCarter
maybe when he said "you get stuck in Iraq" (if you don't study), he actually meant "you" as the entire country. in other words: " if USA doesn't get educated, it will result in us going to war" maybe, i dunno. Since you seem to think the New York Post is a joke, here's a few more links: http://www.kttc.com/News/index.php?ID=8773 http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews...aq/15913240.htm http://msnbc.msn.com/id/15537663/ http://www.suntimes.com/news/politics/1225...kerry03.article http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/11/02/kerry.photo/ I figure that you won't admit that you made a mistake, so I'll just leave it at that.
