ronmexico
http://pspupdates.qj.net/2K-Sports-announc...pg/49/aid/71277 Was wondering if that means there isn't gonna be a regular 2k7 next year. Since they hired new designers (more specifically the ones from MVP) I think they might be using them to work on this. Anyone have any ideas? Today, 2K Sports announced it is expanding its take on America's (second) favorite pastime with a new over-the-top baseball title. The Bigs, developed by Blue Castle Games, races across the base paths on Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, PSP and Wii next summer. The Bigs promises "outrageous visuals" and easy-to-learn game mechanics. Gamers can expect "larger-than-life" player models and ballparks, meaning the foul grounds in the Oakland Coliseum should be even more immense. Online support is planned, allowing up to four players to get in on the action. Dan Brady, who helped create EA's popular MVP Baseball series, leads the charge in development of The Bigs. Ironically, it was 2K's acquisition of the exclusive MLB rights (and subsequent cancellation of MVP Baseball) that made Brady available. "The BIGS is sure to turn a few heads as it pioneers a completely different way of playing an MLB video game," said Greg Thomas, President of Visual Concepts. "2K Sports is always looking to deliver the most innovative and eye-catching sports video games to fans and The BIGS is one of 2K Sports' most dynamic titles to date." For those looking for a more realistic baseball game, 2K's Major League Baseball 2K7 ships in early spring.
