Kccitystar
John Travolta from Saturday Night Fever I'm kidding. It's Bob Feller. Face #439 on the Legends team.
Ace152
Happy BDay Bob Feller http://www.baseball-reference.com/f/fellebo01.shtml Awesome career, even with missing 4 years to WW2.

Padres67
Wow Bonny how did you know it was Feller's birthday? He is one of a very few players still left from the pre-war era. He lost 4 prime years to the war and still put up great numbers. Would any of our star athletes do that today-I doubt it. Ted Williams actually flew combat missions. Ace152
I check BBR every day. They always list a BDay on the front.
Padres67
He is 88 today-amazing. I might be able to hit him now. What dynasty are you playing now-are you still doing 1961? I'm playing the 1970 Reds in the tc6 I'm at 73-42 with a 7 game lead over the '71 Pirates.
Ace152
I havent played any on my '61 season the past few weeks. Sitting at around .500 at the all-star break. Been too busy on some roster projects. I had the opportunity to meet George Kell a few years ago. Asked him who the toughest pitcher he had to face was. He just kind of shook his head and said, "Feller. Nobody ever was as good as Feller."
