Ace152 Posted December 29, 2006 Author Share Posted December 29, 2006 JUST ENOUGH Rays drop Tribe 3-1 A Hank Blalock 2-run HR in the 1st was all it took to give the DRays game 1 of the ALCS. Omar Infante added a bit of insurance in the 9th with a solo blast. Fat Sid was on point as usual, tossing 7 strong for the W. Sabathia was the tough luck loser, going the distance with a 4-hitter. Ace152 Posted December 31, 2006 Author Share Posted December 31, 2006 TRIBE TURNS IT ON Pound DRays 7-3 The best lineup in the AL showed up last night, and jumped all over Rays starter Cha Seung Baek with 5 runs on 8 hits in just 2 innings. Tribe lefty Cliff Lee pitched in and out of jams for 8 innings, scattering 12 hits with 8 Ks. Every starter for both clubs had at least 1 base hit.
