I run 1280x1024, so a 1024x768 wallpaper would be stretched out on my screen. Other things to consider are widescreen monitors. If you don't know what resolution you're running, right-click anywhere on your desktop, then choose the "Settings" tab. There should be a slider labeled "Screen Resolution". Pretty simple stuff. You probably already know this, but it doesn't hurt to post.
