MarlinsMS_35
dang. how do you do those textures? Drop Shadows, Noise, Finding mesh-like textures online, practice, being a prefectionist Me and my prefectionist self made an update I've tried to do baseball ones, but that texture is hard to do, once I do, I promise you I will make a 24 Griffey in Seattle (I want one too )

stEdfuNk
i like it, I just think 640x400 is a little 1992
thr33niL
Hook us up with that background picture. Yeah, and 640x400 should not be in the same paragraph as "wallpaper" these days. lol
Homer
don't know why it keeps showing up that small. it's actually 1440x900: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=MGIN5GXJ edit: re-linked it. made an edit to the text.
redsox
Comments on this wallpaper? I had actually created this to be CTS download but I just couldn't get a 1024x1024 file to work. But anyway, I may have messed up on the colors a little and not sure if there is a smooth blending or not. Suggestions to improve this are more than welcomed. redsfan776
i really like the wallpaper redsox did you manually draw the outline around ortiz or is there an option to do that
kgbaseball
I like that a lot. I love the cartoonish look of Papi.
redsox
Thanks man. I think I am going to have to work on the coloring a little bit more. There just seems to be too much red. There is actually a "stroke" feature under blending options that gives me that outline.
redsox
I like that a lot. I love the cartoonish look of Papi. Does it really look cartoonish? Its not supposed to be that way.
kgbaseball
The legs do, at least, especially the left one. Looks like something out of a comic book. I'm digging it.
redsox
Oh gotcha. I see what you are talking about. I think its gotta do with some lighting effects that I have going. The next thing I want to do is incorporate C4Ds into wallpapers. I don't know how well its going to work, but anyway, I will probably post some shots when I am done with a couple that I am working on at the moment. redsox
Here's my latest one. I just can't seem to get C4Ds to work properly. I am having some trouble with blending them in with the background. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Of course, I didn't use C4Ds on this one, but anyway.

jfreak4031
I don't know how much of a longshot this is- can anyone do a widescreen wallpaper? If so, can you hit me with a Jeff Francoeur or a Russell Martin? -thx

jfreak4031
My native res is 1920x1200, but i believe the lowest standard is 1280x800 if that makes it any easier.
