Yankees 07-On the way to break the spell?

My Dynasty will beginn soon here, start with the Yankees. I will introduce the cadre mornings and then report about the games. The cadre:

I made a few trades, bevor the dynastie gets on rolling. The most interesting trade is Alex Rodriguez, Randy Johnson, Garry Sheffield against Pedro Martinez, David Wright and the Mets Closer Billy Wagner. Therfore I have 2 closers in my team now, but it doesn’t hurt I think^^. Official, Rivera is my closer and Wagner the 2. man, how can close in a way. Pedro Martinez is a perfect guy at the mound, but Randy Johnson is it, too. Booth are pitching in theire ways, but at least at the paper is the win^^, when you understand what I mean. My 2. interesting contract was Barry Zito, who takes place to booth in nothing.

I think my 5 pitchers are a kind of worl class, including Wright, then he’s also a good pitcher, I think. The number of the rotation does not tell’s about the strengh of the pitchers.

Adam Melhuse came to the Yankees as a Free Agent, after he has left the Oakland A’s. Sal Fassano also changed into a Free Agent now, I hope he will play soon for another team.

So, this is the lineup, I hope that you can understand what I write down and play the first game probably today, because the writing fever has packed me^^

The first game

Yankees (0-0) vs Oakland (0-0)

The Pitchers:

The yankees must batt first and open the game with Robinson Cano as the new leadoff hitter for the yankees. Blanton walk’s him on 6 pitches and after Jeter hit a ground ball in the infield, an error from the shortstop let cano reaches third and Jeter stay alive in this Inning. Abreu brings Cano at second with a ground out, but Giambi Pops out into the Infield. The new Yankee David Wright with a chance to open the scoring of today’s game with 2 outs. He hit a wonderful 2RBI single and sets the lead for New York.

Martinez pitches a 1,2,3 Inning and the Yankees get the chance to expand the lead with Abreu on the Plate by 2 outs. He hit a nice 2RBI single and raise the lead at 4 to nothing. Then Giambi steps in with 2 outs, but he can’t take an advantage of this situation, with runners on the edges.

Johnson hit a soft ground ball to wright, but he throws the ball away and johnson can reach second. Milton Bradley steps in and hit a huge 2 run bomb and brings the A’s back into the game. Martinez can’t believe it, but the ball was hang in the zone and so Bradley can take adventage off it. 4-2

In the 5th Posada has the chance to raise the lead for the bomers again, but he can’t take advantage oft it and hits a fly out to right field.

In 6th Cano turn a sweat double and Jeter singles again in this game, so Cano can reach 3rd and an error after Jeter try to steel a base let Cano can gaine the next run. But Wright and Abreu can’t take a bigger lead for New York.

Kotsay with the answer in the 6th, he hit a solo shot and Dotel is in the Pen…

2 Hits for the A’s and one out let Torre think about a pitchers change, but Johnson hit a double play and the Yankees came out of the 6th with one run battet in.

After a lead off double from Damon in the 7th, he scores on a single to left field from Hideki Matsui.

Dominguez comes from the Pen, but it goes on with a single from Posada and a pop out from Melhuse. Matsui reaches third on this execution. Cano gets out and with 2 Outs Jeter steps in. He complete an impressiv 5 for 5 afternoon in the MC Affe stadium and Matsui scores the next run. 7-3

In the 8th Oakland try all to come back in the ballgame and a leadoff single from Kotsay opens the last offensiv of the A’s. Tomas hit a long fly ball to left field and Matsui robs him with an amazing catch.

The A’s can use the chance and we go into the 9th.

Wagner in the Pen, but he don’t need to take place in this ballgame, because Mellhuse hit a great solo homer and Dotel brings the 8-3 in.

The second game

Yankees (1-0) vs Oakland (0-1)

The Pitchers:

In the 2nd Inning, Chavez hit a solo shot and Swisher hit a back to back deep ball, but the Japanese heroe in these days at the Mc Affe colloseum, Hideki Matsui can take the 2-0 away. So the A’s only lead with one point.

The Yankees can answer in the 3rd and Abreu brings Cano and Jeter home with an awesome double and sets the Yankee lead.

In the 6th Inning, Abreu hit the ball again for a single and Wright hit a 2 Run bomb, so the Yankees lead 4-1. The bomers continue the hitting streak in the 6th with nice executions from Mellhuse, with runners on the edges and Cano with a RBI single from the new lead of hitter Robinson Cano. Saarlos comes out from the Pen. He hold the score, but the A’s are 5 points away from a win now.

Oakland fight in the 8th and after Kotsays single, Thomas hit a big home run, so the Yankees lead only 6-3 before the last inning of this ballgame.

But in the top of the 9th, Jeter hit a solo jack and the A’s are 4 points away from a victory over the Bomers.

Wagner and Rivera are in the Pen and built a nice team to close out every game. The Yanks chose Rivera and he end the game easy, but without the save.
