ChicagoCubs720
Smokin_Joe, glad to see you are putting so much effort into perfecting Barrett. First off, I think I have 4 or 5 Barrett bmps I have made (2X) and I was wondering if you would like them. Second, looking at Barrett with Freel's face model, I don't think they look much alike. I'm going to do some searching for a better model. Does anyone else have any better ideas for a model?
ChicagoCubs720
I'm going to try Chris Carpenter, but I'll have to work on the nose.

Yeah we need to find a new model or i need to learn oedit again and at the rate i'm going, i probably will soon. Post what you come up with, i'd like to see it. ChicagoCubs720
I have to say, the Carpenter model is really looking good in O-Edit. I'm going to fix some of the mapping and post an in-game pic.
ChicagoCubs720
Does anyone think this has potential? Thanks kgbaseball for the improved texture. I messed around with the brightness and contrast, and I almost have it perfected for my liking. I think I still need a photoshopper to add a little bit of a 5 o'clock shadow (maybe not as much as Smokin_Joe's).
HCaray
I think you guys should give him darker hair. It isn't really that blond. CC720, I like your version the best so far.
Smokin_Joe
That's lookin good man, I like it. Yeah the beard was a little much, i think i could've adjusted the transparency of it to look better.
ChicagoCubs720
I think this one is better. I used my own texture instead of kg's, but I messed around with the brightness and contrast. I still need to fix the nostrils, the eyes, the hair color (thanks HCarey), and then maybe someone could add a 5 o'clock shadow.
Smokin_Joe
Yeah that one is much better. The other texture looked like he had a skin rash or something.

ChicagoCubs720
I adjusted a few things, but his face looks a little gray to me.
kgbaseball
Can we officially claim him the hardest face to make?
ChicagoCubs720
Can we officially claim him the hardest face to make? I'd say so for a few reasons. First, he doesn't have a default headshape. Second, his pressbox photo isn't any good, and there are no other workable pics of him. And lastly, as weird as it sounds, I think he looks slightly different in every photo I've seen of him. Hopefully, my face can be at least suitable.
kgbaseball
Could you send me your .psd or post the .fsh so I could try and sharpen that up a little bit so his face doesn't look so smooth?

Tbh, i'm glad you are finishing him up so i can move onto something else. Looks suitable to me, just needs a little sharpening, maybe a little color blending between the eyes and a little scruffage. kgbaseball
Try this. I'm not sure exactly what I did to it. I couldn't get it to sharpen much without completely making it look dumb.
ChicagoCubs720
How does this look (thanks for the texture kg, I made a couple of adjustments)? Maybe if I post the texture, could someone add a little scruff?
kgbaseball
Hmm, the lighting under his nose could be fixed. Sorry, I don't know how to add good looking facial hair.

Sorry, I don't know how to add good looking facial hair. yeah it does look kinda weird, but the only way I'd be able to fix it is by bluring it out, which would probably look worse. Smokin Joe, could you maybe help me? thr33niL?

Maybe if I post the texture, could someone add a little scruff? Looks good, whoops all over mine. I'm not good at the scruffage either. You could try what i did and cut a beard from someone elses face then lay it over the top and turn down the transparency.
ChicagoCubs720
I was going to try extracting a beard and the alpha from a generic face, does anyone know how to load the beard with an alpha in GIMP?

kgbaseball
Right nostril area needs some work. I'm not a big fan of the shadow either.
