BigDaddyCool
Well for those of you who hate the BCS and want a playoff, here's how it might look: One of the games I have is Grey Dog Software's Bowl Bound College Football. One of the options that you can have for your post-season is - you guessed it - a 16-team playoff. The Conference Champions are automaticlly in. So that would be: ACC – Wake Forrest Big 12 – Oklahoma Big East – Louisville Big 10 – Ohio St. Conf USA – Houston Mid – Amer – Central Michigan Mtn West – BYU Pac 10 – USC SEC – Florida Sun Belt – Mid Tenn St. WAC – Boise St. But hold on, that's only 11 teams! Right you are, so you take in the top 5 at-large teams from the BCS: Michigan LSU Wisconsin Arkansas Notre Dame So now the field looks like this: 1. Ohio St. 2. Michigan 3. Florida 4. USC 5. LSU 6. Louisville 7. Wisconsin 8. Boise St. 9. Arkansas 10. Notre Dame 11. Oklahoma 12. Wake Forrest 13. BYU 14. Houston 15. Central Michigan 16. Mid Tenn St. So the brackets would look like this: (16) Mid Tenn St. at (1) Ohio St. (11) Oklahoma at (6) Louisville (14) Houston at (3) Florida (9) Arkansas at ( Boise St. (10) Notre Dame at (7) Wisconsin (13) BYU at (4) USC (12) Wake Forrest at (5) LSU (15) Central Michigan at (2) Michigan Play the first round around Christmas, plug the remaining eight teams into the traditional New Years Day Bowls, then use BCS Bowl sites for the Final Four and the Championship Game and rake in the $$$$$$$$$ from the whole ball of wax.
