PSX to USB... Playstation 2 controller

I recently had so many problems using the Logitech Dual Action USB controller... too many calibration issues. So I returned it and got the PSX to USB adapter from radio shack so I can use my Playstation 2 controller. I got it working from a buttons standpoint... but the joysticks are slightly off, especially the right joystick. I can move around completely well... but when I tap the right joystick to slide or dive to catch a ball it moves the player in a different direction. I'm sure it has to do with configuring the joysticks correctly... but I'm not sure where to go or how to do it as I only know to configure it via the the games configuration menu and there isn't a spot for sliding and diving.

Go to "C:Documents and Settings...My DocumentsMVP Baseball 2004 and open the controller cfg. file. Check the button mapping for whatever stick you're using and make sure these lines are written like this.

VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_RIGHT= axis- 1

VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_LEFT= axis+ 1

VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_UP= axis+ 2

VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_DOWN= axis- 2

VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_RIGHT= axis- 3

VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_LEFT= axis+ 3

VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_UP= axis+ 4

VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_DOWN= axis- 4

could you post it for me PLEASE? cuz everything is perfect, except the ppitches aren't mapped right, the 6th (or 5th, i forget) pitch is where its supposed to be (R1) and the 4th pitch is where it is supposed to be (Triangle), but the 1st, 3rd, and 1st pitches are medded up, and this is how i want it-

1st- Square

2nd- X

3rd- Circle

4th- Triangle

6th (or 5th, w/e)- R1

Keep in mind that I used the EA way(easiest IMO) of fixing the controller problem with a PSX/USB adapter. Remember to BACK UP YOUR CFG FILE!

Well I was using the Logitech Dual action USB controller but I returned that... now that I plugged in the adapter and PS2 controller... It still says Logitech Dual action USB controller... so I just changed the buttons... maybe thats why the joysticks arent working... how do I just get rid of the logitech controller? I'm lost, lol. Can I just have your controller file. My AIM screenname is Bwangster12.
