fred13 Posted November 16, 2006 Share Posted November 16, 2006 actually in Canada, with a G1 (license you get when your 16) you can only drive with someone who has 4 years of drving experience with a G Liscence (takes 20-24 months to get). Our graduating liscensing system goes 16 - G1 8 months-1 year later you get a G2 then a year later you get a G, if you pass all the tests. Yeah up here in wa, you get your license (age 16) after 6 months with a learners permit. When you get your license you can only drive yourself, or family. No friends in the car for 6 months, unless theres family there also. Then if you get 2 tickets before your 18, your license is suspended till you are 18. The joys of an intermediate license.
