tywiggins
You have to wait for kgbaseball's cyberfaces folder. He renamed all of the cyberfaces to make it work with my program.

SwinginSoriano
Yo ty, is it okay if KG includes your program with all the faces? It'd make more sense if it was all in one place.
krawhitham
I like how it is called "kgbaseball's cyberfaces folder" How many of those faces did he make again? Plus I noticed in this screen shot there is no mention (within the program) of who made the face being shown How hard would it be to CRC/MD5 verify files in a folder, rename the files and put them in the correct structure? That way people have to download the faces from each modder who in turn will not be forgotten about down the road.

Good point You should also add to the readme, that you should be careful when changing some of the default player cyberface numbers Some cyberface ids like David Ortiz are linked to unique player homerun celebrations and a few id's have accessories attached to them, like Damon's hair & Gagne's glasses. kgbaseball
Why are you making this harder than it has to be? We got permission from everyone we needed to, and they are given thanks in the Readme. And who the hell cares what the folder is called? It's not called "kgbaseball's cyberface files" in the download. I've tried to upload it twice, but it won't let me for some reason. I'll keep trying, and it should be up by tonight sometime. SwinginSoriano
I'd imagine people wouldn't want to put Gagne, Ortiz, Manny, and Damon into different slots. Anyway, I hope when KG loads it he doesn't put himself as an 'author'. But I guess the folder is named after the guy who compiled it, like how Shmooz's models.big is named after Shmooz and not the cyberface makers. KG, there may be a 50 mb upload limit. Trues can provide a better ftp if the file is as big as you said it was.

From my experience with some users on this site, it's better to assume stupidity, of course those people don't tend to read the readme, but still.... He can call it whatever he wants to call the cyberface set, I'm just not a fan of egotistical mod names I hate mod names called jimbob's superfragilistic mod pack or whatever. But again, this is pretty trivial and my own personal 'thing'
SwinginSoriano
I understand. I think about the same thing about my mods. I choose to put my username there to make it easier to search for. That's pretty much the only reason. I myself use a modder's name to search for many specific mods.

I have no idea what he will call it. Downloading hundreds of faces individually is not something that most people want to do.
Edam
He can call it whatever he wants to call the cyberface set, I'm just not a fan of egotistical mod names I hate mod names called jimbob's superfragilistic mod pack or whatever. But again, this is pretty trivial and my own personal 'thing' I hear you. It's not necessarily trivial though. SOME individuals who name their stuff eponymously are just looking for attention. Of course, if it turns out to be crap, that backfires, so let them continue to do so, and THAT is what people will remember.

But again, this is pretty trivial and my own personal 'thing' oops, I guess I'm guilty of this myself. The only reason I did it though was to make it easier to find something before we had the advanced search ability we have now. SwinginSoriano
Trues, is there still the 50 mb limit for the ftp?
Trues
Trues, is there still the 50 mb limit for the ftp? No limit via ftp. The 50mb limit is only for uploading through the downoads module on the site.
kgbaseball
Wait, so is that why I'm having problems uploading this file? It's 86.5 mb big, and when I try and upload, it goes for awhile and then eventually a new "Add Download" page comes up. Is there a better way to upload?
