UltraMegaOK1988
At 59% of loading, I get an error that it encountered an error loading the file "safenite.big." Anyone else ever encounter this issue and/or know how to resolve it? I've tried cleaning the CD (it wasn't dirty) and removing all traces of MVP Baseball 2005 from my computer, but it still doesn't work.
abc006
i believe if i'm not mistaken that means the safeco stadium file. you might be missing that file, or it might be corrupt. I could be wrong, a modder would need to confirm it, but that's what it looks like. EDIT: didn't realize it was happening during installation. not sure i can help you with that, then. UltraMegaOK1988
Okay, now I got the game to install properly, and I downloaded Ultimate Rosters 8.0. I made a couple trades in my new dynasty, and now when I go to play the first game of the season (at home) against the Washington Nationals (I'm the Phillies), the game crashes when it loads after I click "Play Game" after the pitching matchups. Any ideas? Or should I just reinstall again?
TheNateGBent
I can only think that you download the plus version and didn't install the player models, but it's probably something else.
UltraMegaOK1988
If there were player models, I didn't install them (unless it was in the "dat" folder) because I wasn't aware it came with them. I didn't see any. It came with a "dat" folder, a "mbe" folder, a "Roster installer by kraw" folder, four text documents ("How to use eagraph & edit rosters;" "Shmooz Cyberface only readme (Lite version);" "Shmooz Moser readme;" and "Shmooz Umachines readme") and a Word document called "Readme UR 8.0 Final." UltraMegaOK1988
I downloaded the roster file and it worked. Thank you. Another question though: why is the pitching meter so thin? When I played the game before, the yellow area was about a quarter of an inch wide. Now, with the roster update, it's about 1/16 of an inch wide. If it matters, I was using Brett Myers.
