bearsfan34
I've downloaded a bunch of .rar files and don't know how to install them. Help please!
SloppyChris
A .rar file is similar to a .zip file, it contains multiple files within itself. Use WinRar if you have it (guessing not) or have the money to buy it, or you can use the free 7zip program to extract the .rar file into it's components. krawhitham
use only the latest version of WINRAR It is still 100% functional after the trial period, 3rd party software it not 100% compatible. I run into people who can not unpack my RARs (normally small files with max compression) all the time unless they use WINRAR
SloppyChris
Interesting, I was not aware you can use it after the trial ends.
kgbaseball
I think that annoying box just pops up after the trial period ends.
JoeyMcM93
I think that annoying box just pops up after the trial period ends. Correct, and you have to close the box to extract things. Here is a link to the latest WinRar: http://www.download.com/WinRAR/3000-2250_4...tml?tag=lst-0-
fred13
I never actually "open" winrar. I just save the file, then right click and choose extract to whichever folder I want.
boosox
or you could get a much smaller program called extract now, it is very convenient.
