Should your favorite player come from your team?

my favorite player isn't even from this era....or my era for that matter LOL

Sandeeeeeeeeeeee, the one and only Sandy 'Koofoo' Koufax.

Of course my modern era favorites have come from the angels...was wally joyner when i was like 4 until he went to KC, then JT Snow until he went to SF or wherever, and then Darin Erstad / K-Rod.

But I don't know if we'll ever see a pitcher as dominant as Koufax again, and lefty on top of it. The closest thing since has been the ryan express, but alas, he was right handed and that diminishes it juuust slightly because it's much harder for a lefty to put up the same numbers as a righty. I hope we do, it would sure be a lot of fun to have someone like Ryan/Koufax around again.
