MVP SavReader Help

Posted this in the SavReader thread but nobody pays attention to it.

I go to get the stats and such off my dynasty, and as I load it in Savreader, while it's importing all the info, I get

Run-time error '6':

Overflow

This happens on the "Reading manager offsets..." stage.

How can I fix this?

Someone gave a solution, but it did not work for me.

go to control panel

choose the language/region option

make sure the language setting is set to English

and also make sure the adanved setting for non-unicode programs is set to English as well

Anyone got any ideas? It was said that this wasnt a problem with the sav file that came with 06, but I am using a sav file that I created to use with UR 8.0 beta. Any way I can fix this... maybe changing something in the game or doing something simple/downloading a patch?

Wish I knew and could help you, but I am in the same boat. I have been doing without SavReader as of late.

We'll see how it goes now. I had to restart due to my dynasty locking up on a specific date in year 2.

Its tough not using savreader, because I like to look at my dynasty stats in a nice text based way, instead of in the game, not to mention post them in my dynasty.

so basically... the version of the roster I have just doesn't work? Because I am not going to start a new dynasty... no way around it to use Savreader?
