What causes this. Please, dear goodness, help me.

I hate this. This happens all of the time. I used to think that it only happens when I crash out of a program but it happens when normally closing out of MVP. My icons get rearranged like in the picture. Can someone help me stop this?

Happens to me sometimes too, usually when I change the resolution in the game I'm playing.

Hmm. I think that used to happen to me when I changed the resolution, but I believe this happens to me every time or every other time I exit the game. The resolution in game is the same as my desktop too.

This happens to me randomly, my computer feels like changing the resolution. So, after MVP I go back to my control panel and reset it. After that, I sort my icons back to my liking. :)

right click on the desktop and try turning on auto-arrange. it might keep them organized over to the left a little better when things like this happen.

So no solution is the solution. I think I'll try to train my brain that it is OK not to be anal. That could help me in life in general.
