Metalmilita87 Posted December 23, 2006 Share Posted December 23, 2006 Hey folks, im having problems with mvp too, i've got the Padres and im in June and the game freezes right after i finish the first game of the series againts the A's. when i click "Done" the Simulating image comes on and freezes right there. I've reinstall MVP again and i dont remember installing patch #5 before installing the MVP 06 mod, maybe im wrong cuz i've seen that it cant work without the Patch. I've try everything, i downloaded the Sav reader to try and change the calendar, try to advance some games, but the program doesnt work or i cant get it to work. I hope someone can come up with a solution to this problem, i was like 15 games behind the division leader and now im down by only 5 games, im trying to be manager of the year here folks! Quote • Place the .dat-files in your mvp baseball 2005/data/database folder. Choose "yes" when you're asked to overwrite. • Place the models.big file in your mvp baseball 2005/data folder and the uniforms.big file in your mvp baseball 2005/data/frontend folder. Choose "yes" when you're asked to overwrite. (If you’re using the models.big Lite version by Big Shmooz, ignore the process of adding the uniforms.big file). (models.big is a separate download!) • The .mbe-file is not necessary if you just want to play with the rosters. Add it to your mvpedit installation folder if you want to look at the rosters with MVPedit. If you don't wish to edit the rosters, simply just ignore the ur800se_final.mbe or ur800plus_final.mbe. I don't have a uniforms.big file in either download (the UR 8.0+ or the seperate models.big). One thing you could do is to copy the stadium file for Fenway Park from the CD and paste it over the one that you have in the stadiums folder. As always backup your file. So I simmed past it and played the next game. I don't think the park is the problem, because the other Fenway games worked.
