Closers

THis is the deal: I'm playing the White Sox, Bobby Jenks comes in, in the 9th inning and stays until the 12th inning. He left with 50 pitches thrown!!!!

C'Mon... It's unrealllllllll.

So... does anyone know what lines can i change in the datafile, so than the managers get a lot more smarter, and don't get their relievers injuried for months??

I think there's a slider you can set so the pitchers get tired easier.

I could be wrong though.

There is a slider for that. Fool around with it a bit.

Yeah, you're right. but then the starter leaves with 60 or something, i still haven't find the right slider.

I just wish i could make the setup and closers go only 2 innings top.

Cards new reliever Springer is a good one, when he goes 1 inning, but 2 innings, no way, he gets crushed.

In the game he and Lidge go on forever.

That's why i prefer playing NL, because it involves more strategy..

Just edit his stamina to something low, like 20...

I barely use closers, when my setup puts in a perfect 8th, i just leave him in for the 9th. I remember when Scot Shields had a stamina of 62 :o

i hate that, even if their stamina is a zero, if they havent allowed almost anything they will be left in, its stupid, i had k-rod pitch 11 innings agianst me.
