Best Method to Add Matsuzaka to current dynasty?

hmm, I could sign him to my team, then trade him to Boston for a sorry A ball pitcher. But what about the audio/portrait stuff. I'm pretty weak in this area of knowledge. Suggestions

I'm afraid this will overwrite one currently installed.

You or anyone else know if I should rename this bad boy?

Edit: All of the reviews look really bad for this:

Is using that a bad idea? I could create him myself but don't know what he throws. I just know he throws every pitch in the book.

Yeah, it would overwrite his portrait if he already has one.

I don't know much about this either.

Hmm..

Could you create a guy, assign him a empty ID, and assign Matsuzaka's portrait to said ID?

I'll get you a CAP from fanfaregames.

Yes, but I dont' know what empty ID's I have. I'm afraid of overwriting stuff. I think since my team is an NL team, and I'll be throwing him on teh AL, I won't worry about the audio portion, I'll create him, make up crap for his abilities, unless someone else chimes in, and just have him and his cyberface. This stinks. Thanks anyways pujols. If anyone can direct me I'd appreciate anything you have to say.

Edit; Thanks for the CAP sir.

Just so you know, I recently(yesterday) posted links to animations of his pitches and speeds of said pitches. They will help you a ton in creating him accurately...

His pitches are the:

4sm fastball

2sm fastball

cutter

curve

slider

circle change

forkball

so yea, that cap isn't exactly accurate.

I used:

4sm

forkball

circle change

curveball

slider

^In that order of how good the pitches are in his arsenal. You can add a slight movement to his 4sm in MVPEdit to be somewhere between his 4sm and 2sm so you don't need to have the 2sm.

* Some may ask, “Why 4 and not 5?†Well, just think about the fact that most scouts predict him to be a #2 starter and a POSSIBLE ace. He is a POSSIBLE ace, but most likely a #2 starter at best. So putting him at 4 stars should be just fine.

** While it hasn’t happened yet, it is VERY POSSIBLE that Daisuke’s arm may “fall offâ€. This belief is due to the fact that he has thrown a ridiculous amount of pitches/innings in his young career. It hasn’t happened yet, however, so the rating is what you could call moderate. (SEE STAMINA)

*** This stat may look to be ridiculously high, but in 25 games, he pitched in 186 1/3 innings – about 7 ½ per – more than Livan Hernandez in 04 AND 05 (Livan is typically the player associated with the 99 stamina rating). If you look at 05, Daisuke pitched almost 7.7 innings per. A ridiculous amount, but if you think about the fact that in a game in spring training this year, Matsuzaka threw 350, yes, you read right, 350 pitches … you may decide to think again. Oh, and by the way, he had 14 complete games. Hmm…………

**** One scout graded this pitch a 70 out of 65. 70 OUT OF 65! Wow.

i guess i'm not really sure what you're asking here mo. do you just want to add him to your rosters, or to your dynasty? if just to the roster, then use thr33nil's cyberface:

http://www.mvpmods.com/Downloads/details/id=3466.html

he included an mep file. you can simply use mvpedit to import the mep file, and add him to whatever team you want, and then make whatever changes you want to his CAP. i believe the assigned audio number is fine. if you're worried about overwriting one that you're using, simply go to Tool>Id List in MVPedit. that'll show you all the numbers you're using. if you don't see it on the list, you can use it.

as with the audio, i believe someone had made one for him already. i don't know how good it is, but it's out there in the downloads. if you want to change it to a different audio number, that can be done with ease too. just pm me.
