almstsobur
Is there any program, or tweak I can use to Unlock Nolan Ryan? I currently play at very chalenging settings and I have not much hope at MVP points, infact I might not even make the playoff's. I just lost my best starter for like 60+ games and I would really like to play with an old favorate picher of mine ... Ole' Nolan. Can anyone help me out in unlocking him to my curent dynasty without a lot of head ache? Or maybe some one could post his attributes and I can create him? Thanks. KerryW
I'd send you the save file, but I can't find it.... Still, you can easily earn lots of points by simulating an entire season with the Yankees, or another good team, on **MVP** difficulty. You should earn A LOT ofpoints towards the end of the simulated season. Edit- Turn off all notifications before starting the season so you won't get those popups nonstop
almstsobur
I have never tried to unlock anyone .. so here is a lame question. The points are profile related I assume? So can I simulte with the yankee's but add Nolan to my current Giants roster/dynasty? In other words doing the yankies sim will have no impact on my curent dynasty, but will allow me to unlock Nolan to it? Is that what your saying? Also, can i sim the whole season? or do I have to play certain games, ot finish the 9th inning etc? thanks again.

If you already have a profile, and I assume you do, then just start another dynasty with any team (you don't have to save it)...You should set it at MVP difficulty and turn off all trade, suspension, etc. notifications. Then just simulate the ENTIRE season. When it's over you should end up with about 20,000 points or so. Simulate the playoffs if you should make it that far (and you should)... Then just save your profile and feel free to buy whatever you want. Your unlocked players should be in the free agents list, even in your dynasty. There was a profile by "RGlass" that was downloadable that had everything unlocked, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
almstsobur
Hey, thanks for your help.. much appreciated. I am going to give that a whirl when I get home from work. One more quick question if you don't mind; I am curently using roddata4 and I am finding it very realistic (I play all my games, no sims) my only issues seem to be power numbers. 16 games into my dynasty and Barry Bonds has no home runs, and only 1 other player has any homeruns .. so 16 games in I have a team total of 1 HR. I bumped up the User power to like 25 (I was at 12ish) Pitch speed -10, I didnt see more home runs just a heck of alot of line drives, it's like now I get no singles, everything is a double in the gap with the power settings that high .. I guess my question is, should I go to Roddata7? is any of this addressed, or is the total play for someone who does not sim better in version 7? thanks again. KerryW
I'd HIGHLY recommend downloading Rolie's datafile. His mod already includes Roddata 7, which I find very realistic in terms of the game physics..The mod also has some of the best batting views, a couple of great and TV realistic pitching views to choose from, and the best custom fielding views that you'll ever see in a mod....not to mention the new pitch selector and icons.... See for yourself why this is the most popular mod on this site: http://www.mvpmods.com/pafiledb/pafiledb.p...file&id=

jamcadbury
If you didn't select the "Use Unlocked Players" option when starting your franchise, those players won't be available.
KerryW
If you didn't select the "Use Unlocked Players" option when starting your franchise, those players won't be available. You can still go into the Game Options menu and change that.... I think....
