Beetle1283
I had installed the patch 2 for my game a few months ago and it worked no problem...then i had some problems with my computer and had to reformat it... so i reinstalled mvp baseball 2004... and now im trying to install patch 3 and it isnt working... i get the message... Old file not found. However, a file from the same name was found. No updates done because file contents do not match. I had registered for EA sports or whatever and had a username and password and everything and now that same username and password is like invalid. RAM
if u have installed any modified roster it will not allow u to install the patch. so backup ur roster data files replace them w/ the originals. on the cd BTW. install patch, and then reinstall the modded rosters. spitoon
I got the same message, but if you drag the error box out of the way and find out which file it got hung up on, you just have to replace that file from the CD and then re-run the patch and it should be fine. Repeat as needed. I had to replace rookie.big and attrib.dat to get patch 3 to install here.
