alexwoot
Which do you think Adam Wainwright is better suited for, being thrown in the rotation this year, or become a set-up/closer again with izzy or if izzy is injured?
abc006
Even if izzy does come back, I'll doubt he'll pitch as well as he did before... Probably depends on how the Cardinals rotation ends up by the end of the off-season.
pujols
I think that he'll remain in the pen.
JaFFiTh
Umm, or maybe move him to the outfield to team up with Ankiel? *grin* Actually I dunno..i think like osmeone said, gotta see how the rotation turns out after the spring training..but I have a feeling he'll stay in the pen, maybe even get spot starts. SESbb30
100% sure he will be a starter, they cant afford him not to be in the rotation. they have had many chances to sign people to the pen, plus im sure larussa will pull some minor leaguer from a ball and make him a setup man, and do just as good as wainwright. kgbaseball
He should be a starter. That's what he's been doing throughout the minors, and the Cards need rotation help. It's a no brainer.
