what do u do if you dont like the cyberfaces in the...

hey

so i downloaded the latest ur rosters and the .BIG file that goes with it and its pretty reat, lots of new faces. However, i want some faces to be the original face that was given in th egame, (example david ortiz and troy glaus). I thought ea did a good job on there faces, and now after installing the .BIG file, the faces are the cyberfaces that someone made for them.

i need the original cyberface back, i thought i could just change the face number in mvpedit, but th enumber is the same. so how do i do this? i basically want to uninstall these cyberfaces!

I saved Kraws' cybers on my PC, I simply exported them, and put them back over Shmooz's cyberfaces. PAin in the **** but it was worth it. Do you have an old models.big backed up?

i dont think i have a backup of a models big file, but i can always just use the original file from the cd

so ya, i have a models.big file with all the original cyberfaces, but i havve no clue how to put them into the shmooz big file im using right now

Put the first disk in your computer, open it up in explorer, unpack the "compressed.zip" file and extract the "Models.big" to your desktop. Now, just get the cyberfaces out of that and install them into your current Models.big.

You could also try using Tywiggins Models.big Updater. You can download the Face Files for it here.

You could try using BigGui, exporting the files (fsh, ord, and orl) for their faces from the original models.big and then importing them into your current models.big. Just make sure to compress the files in BigGui after you import them.

For each cyberface the files are (for example if it was face 617) : c617.fsh, c617.ord, and c617.orl

You do this & you will most definitely corrupt the models.big file you are using in your game. Instead of using biggui, use eagraph. Just make sure to compress the files you are inserting first, with a program such as eazip to compress them. (though if you want, you can use biggui to extract the files you want from the original models.big. Just make sure you import the files with eagraph after compressing them with eazip)

Also make sure to put the models.big you are playing with, back to "read only" after inserting the files you want to insert. (instructions on how to do this are in the readme of my download I believe)

I used Big gui to get probably around 100 different cyberfaces into my copy of the mvp06 mod and it worked fine.

just because you haven't noticed anything doesn't mean it's fine. it's been well document that biggui will corupt your models.big. and according to kraw, it looks like eagraph will too. i believe. but all schmooz was trying to say (again, i think) is that you should take precautionary matters since we know that it can corupt them. and thus far, his suggestions are the best options we have, so i would give it a try, unless you prefer to learn the hard way.

The only reason I do it with Big Gui is that I'm more experienced with it because it's heavily used in the nhl mod community. Hell, I was using Fshx instead of eagraph until a couple of months ago.

EAgraph has done wonders for me. With Biggui I kept corrupting my models.big file causing it to crash the game, haven't had any problems with eagraph while using it to install hundreds of cyberfaces
