Accurate as it gets?

Chein-Ming Wang without a sinker?

Players with major league experience missing completely or in Single-A?

And a organisational roster seemingly built around the AA team rather than the MLB.

For the Yankees organisation at least, I'll take kg's rosters thank you very much.

You know, the sad part about you is that for all the time you've wasted bitching about Chien-Ming Wang's pitches in U.R., you could simply have researched the pitch he throws yourself and see that it is a 2-seam fastball, not a sinker. The term "sinker" is used in two contexts - as a true sinker, and as a sinking fastball - i.e., a 2-seam fastball with downward, or "sinking", movement.

I won't explain this to you much more, Hory. Not even you're dumb enough not to understand it after the amount of times I've laid it out to you.

BigRog, I'm somewhat surprised to read that a lot of people don't appreciate how the Yankees rosters are laid out. If anyone has any problems with them, yourself included, I encourage them to send a message detailing the problem to markb@mvpmods.com and I'll explain the reason behind it. I don't just throw things together in the rosters, I make all reasonable efforts to get all players on the correct teams and with ratings that represent their results. Sometimes, due to limitations within the game, sacrifices have to be made, and I do my best to avoid them. Some are more obvious than others but every move is made with the best interests of the rosters as a whole in mind.

Thank you grandiose holder of all baseball knowledge, perhaps now that you have corrected my 'ignorance' you can move on to correct the pitcher himself, his pitching coach & his catcher as they continue to refer to Wang having a sinker and a 2-seamer.

Ron Guidry clearly does not have your knowledge of baseball.

To me, if a pitcher in real-life has both a 2-seamer & a sinker that translates to having a 2 seamer & a sinker in the game, but maybe I'm thinking too logically.

a while back on the UR thread alot of people complained about the whole wang thing with his pitches and how some people with mlb experience werent on the rosters I believe some examples are Guil and Rasner. i heard many complaints about it there. I admit i was one of them that didnt like how it was set up (didnt complain verbally though) anyways i realize totte and you have something worked out and he cant handle every team. the rosters have always been good overall and the yankees have always been a competitive team for me to face. i thank you for your work on the team and the ur project

I'd love to see those quotes, if you can provide them. If they're accurate, I'll check them out, but even then, Wang already has 5 pitches, so you'll still have something to complain about. Works out great for you, doesn't it? :D

Yes, I remember that well. That was when Guiel and Rasner had first been signed, they had only recently been assigned to AAA Columbus and I was struggling for space in the rosters. They have been in the rosters for months now. Thanks for your comments. My aim isn't just that the rosters are accurate, I'd like them to be fun to play against if you're not a Yankees fan and with if you are. If you're enjoying using them, that suits me just great. If you notice anything in future though, my above offer stands.
