TwentySeven
What was the game where a single player had the best day... Hitters only Mine was today - Garrett Atkins was my 3B in my Yankees dynasty - he was leading the league with 6 home runs and 17 RBI's in the beginning of the season. Today, he went 4-for-5 with four home runs, five runs, one walk, and six RBI's. This brings him to a .500 season batting average, ten home runs (lead league, on pace for an amazing 162 - One per game!!!), 23 RBI's - leading league. Thats so crazy! Homer
i had an amazing game with rickey henderson the other day. it was against texas, and for some reason they refused to take out the pitcher. anyhow, he kept throwing it right down the middle. henderson got went 9-9 with five homeruns and the cycle, and two grannies, 16 rbi's and 4 steals. jonalano013
i actually had a very good game today. i was playing the phillies in game 1 of the W.S., and i hit a leadoff homerun with Damon, but Philly responed with 3 runs in the bottom of the first. they added 2 more in the third and i finally pulled wang in favor of hughes. i pitched good enough with him, keeping the phillies scoreless through the next two innings, thus giving myself a chance to make the comeback. first, in the top of the fifth i hit a 2 run-hr with A-Rod to make it 5-3. then in the seventh i scored five runs, two on A-Rod's second homer of the game to take an 8-5 lead. Up steps A-Rod again in the 9th, and BAM: his third homerun of the game; this one a monster shot to center field. i then capped the scoring with a Matsui homerun and won the game 10-6. i went on to win the series in 4 games. the last game i had a 2-1 lead going into the 9th, (pitched a great game with Rasner), but the Phillies tied it up. in the bottom of the 10th, i hit a line drive to deep right, but victorino measured his leap and robbed me of a homerun. the next batter, Giambi, got it just out of victorino's reach when it cleared the fence for a walk-off homerun. in won 3-2, and won the World Series, and FINALLY, i was able to finish a whole dynasty. Giambi won the W.S. MVP Award, as well as the regualar season MVP Award, by hitting a little over .320, with 56 hr's, and like 125 rbi's. best season i've had in a long time. xcrunner4623
Albert Pujols had a 3-4 2 HR 6 RBI game for me. All of my right handed HRs go opposite field. Only if I could learn to pull the ball, I would have so many more HRs.
