stecropper
I am ready to start equipping my retirement room for Old Time Baseball. It will of course be centered around the MVP Baseball 2005 game with Total Classics. What I would like help with is to select the best setup for such a room. That being the Biggest/Best Screen; Best Computer and Graphics Card to play MVP Baseball 2005. I currently have a 19" Hitachi Monitor which looks fabulous with this game and is smooth as can be as far as panning across the field goes during game play. Not sure what the specs are on it but I have tried to replace it with the most expensive Flat Panel Monitors I could buy but they just never measured up to that old Hitachi's CRT quality as far as clarity or smoothness so I returned both. Not sure if it had anything to do with my current graphics video car or not which is a 256K PCI slotted version. I currently have a desktop system with 2 mb of memory and something around 2+ Mhz in processor speed. I am interested in replacing all of that as long as I don't loose any quality of picture and smoothness during game play. Plus I would like to go with as large a screen that maintains those attributes. So with that background any suggestions on what should I be looking at would be greatly appreciated. Since it is my retirement room I do have a fairly nice budget so please don't consider cost as a concern. Even a large screen Plasma TV is an option if I don't forfeit any of those qualities I mentioned above. Thanks in advance, Don
