redsox982
carl pavano out forever. cause of injury: Sneezing, coughing, farting, and other normal bodily functions that we do not suffer from. He is allergic to life.
ronmexico
Ah, of course, the best reason to revive a thread, a Carl Pavano joke... not to mention he actually made a rehab start for a change, but nah, that's just stupid.

Gordo
[ Was this ever updated to be accurate for opending day, 2008? If you go to CBSsports in the MLB section, click on "teams" and pick any. Click on that team's link and then "Depth Chart". A player will have a medical cross icon next to their name if there's an injury. Rest your cursor on that particular player's name and a popup will come up telling you the injury, scheduled return or if he's out for the season. I'll see if I can whip up a comprehensive list. ADDENDUM: nm, they seemed to do it for us! http://www.sportsline.com/mlb/injuries

ADDENDUM: nm, they seemed to do it for us! http://www.sportsline.com/mlb/injuries Thank you very much, that is a nice find - for the CURRENTLY injured players. BUT - what I was referring to, is a list of players who were out (and the length of their injuries) on OPENING DAY of the 2008 season. This is so people who want to have the most accurate dynasty possible can use the opening day roster, place all the injured players on the DL using MVP Editor, and off they go. carpenter
I have just saved that page today, so it's a good reference for injuries at the start of the season.
