BudHawk
I have used Totte and KG rosters. Both are great rosters, but there is no doubt that KG has taken roster sets to a new level. SS has great one season rosters. As BigRog suggested, try them yourself.
Sidewinder
I have not updated career stats or season stats. Last year I did update career stats but after I finsihed the Lahman database and a new MVPedit came out, resulting in a lot of wasted time. Also, since other roster seem to be more suitable for dynasties, I have less of a need to update those stats. At this point, if you are into exhibitions or single-season dynasties Epic will do the trick. Is there any easy way to just add the 2006 season stats for the players? That is what I would really like at this point, basically as a reference point for players I am not as familar with and to appear more complete in-game. Can you just cut and paste a stat file from another roster set to do this or am I clueless here. I am really having some great games here with your rosters and would like to use them with as much of the goodies as possible. Thanks again. Totte
I believe Totte's Rosters are the one included in the MLB 06 but im not sure if they will be in 07 They will be featured in MVP07

You can manually add them all with MVPedit. took half a month I guess. And the easy way, to use one with 06 stats, like KG now, and the next UR.
SloppyChris
Not seeing the parallel to the Unit trade. The Dbacks only dealt lower tier prospects in the deal. I don't think there is any chance of them dealing their better ones. Not sure why this would be awesome either. I'm not gonna go look it up now, but I'm pretty sure I made that post before the prospects involved were announced. Also, it would benefit both Emil and myself because if you look at our signatures, you can see we both are fans of NL West teams. Since Arizona is also in the NL west, the unbalanced schedule means the Giants and Padres both play against the D-backs more often than the Yankees do. One could then conclude that both the Giants and Padres would play against a weaker Diamondbacks team if they gave up young talent, which would then benefit both teams, ergo as fans of those teams we would benefit, consequently, that would be awesome. Since my rosters have different internal IDs, there is no way other than copy and pasting each player manually that I can get 2006 season stats. Sorry. :(

kgbaseball
No other roster matches my accuracy in terms of player movement in the minors, so check that out if that's important to you.

What do you guys think is a good idea. We really can't tell you one way or another, it really comes down to what you want. I personally am just waiting on the U.R. because thats just the roster I really used from the start. I'm sure KGB's and SS's rosters are great, but thats just the way I roll. redsox
What are the pros and cons of each of the three main roster updates out on this site? it all depends on wat you want Totte's Rosters have suggestions made by the people. He has minors and majors. Formulas for ratings are done by kraw except for pitching which is tottes best judgement. KG's are base off of Swinging Sorianos Formulas (i believe). He has majors and minors. personally i think his minors are more indepth than totte's and i enjoy the ratings system SwingingSorianos Rosters are the best if you want to play games with the mlb teams and not devulge into dynasty games due to the fact of lack of minor league players. Personally I love Tottes. Im only starting to use KG's now. Both are excellent Rosters. I have Downloaded Swinging Sorianos Rosters and enjoyed them too but the lack of minors is a detract for me. my suggestion is to Download all three and try them for yourself. I believe Totte's Rosters are the one included in the MLB 06 but im not sure if they will be in 07 If im missing something anyone feel free to add anyways compmaniac its all up to you now
DJEagles
What are the pros and cons of each of the three main roster updates out on this site? Use the search function. There are a few different threads. You should be able to find some information on each of them, if you take the time to look.
TwentySeven
Compmaniac, you already asked that question.. When you were just asking a lot of questions it was annoying but not too bad, but on the first page of the thread you asked the exact same question. It has even already been answered. krawhitham
What are the pros and cons of each of the three main roster updates out on this site? SS's is MLB only KG's is SS's plus minor leagues UR's is MLB plus minor leagues MLB on SS's (and KG's) is like playing with most players on roids KG has done a great job on the MiLB teams and is updated the most often these days UR has great MLB ratings and good MiLB teams but the last part is just my opinion
pitchleague
don't know why, but on the UR set, several players are wearing sunglasses and goggles and stuff that they do not wear. I tried KGs rosters and the players there appear to be normal at least. Why the shades and goggles on so players?
