eddiebmets
Hey guys I am stumped here... I upgraded from an amd 2.0 ghz processor to a Pentium D 3.2 ghz with all the same RAM and the same video card (Geforce FX 5700). The game now runs like CRAP!! I did a reinstall of the game and of direct x 9.0 and the game is unplayable. I am getting more RAM but that shouldn't take away from the fact that everything is the same, if not better and the game should run more smoothly. any suggestions? GEOLINK
MVP23 can you share your DirectX and OpenGL setting from your Moniter Display menu... I would to see if the game would run smoother with other people's settings.

I only have 768mb of DDR ram right now and my 1 gig stick should be arriving on wednesday..... I hope it's just the RAM not being enough. Do you think because I have a much better processor that it needs more ram to go along with it?

JoeyMcM93
Antialiasing and anistropic should be set to application controlled. I have found when they are not games (not just MVP) become choppy and slow.

Do you think because I have a much better processor that it needs more ram to go along with it? I do not think that more ram is going to improve grapjics.( I have 1gig of ddr ram.) It`s what kind of video card you have, not how much ram you have. Is your game choppy or are the graphics bad? Also, try adjusting those settings because you probaly have different video card. What`s the memory of your video card? The requirment is the AGP video card with 32MB or more of memory. Also, do you have firewall or antivirus?, if you do than disable both. I have different video card, mine is Geforce 5200 FX.

I higher resolution will definitely cause the gameplay to become choppy.
