compmaniac
I don't see any arrows. Sorry, I meant commas...and also, there aren't any commas in the file I uploaded...I've only added them to the file I have on my local computer. If you open up Hory's, you'll see lines of commas, I think.
compmaniac
obviously you dont understand this whole schedule thing or you wouldn't have asked so many questions. Maybe you should (as i have said before) talk to Hory via pm and have him give you help seeing as he has done the past two schedule updates I'll try PMing him. ronmexico
Hory's has no arrows/commas/whatever you meant. I am currently looking at it, and do not see anything at the end of the file when opened with notepad, so I don't know what you are speaking of. ronmexico
huh? Touche, but I was looking at mlb162_2.dat and that's the one that had no commas or nothing, so I suppose those are different.

mikewienerm
Is there a date when the last day of the season has to be? Like can I have the season end in the end of october and have the playoffs in November? If that is possible, I could have more room for off days. Hory
No. The mlb season has to end on a Sunday at the end of September/beginning of October (depending on the year) as the playoff dates are hardcoded into the dynasty

Hory
Well your date format is wrong for a start, there should be no leading zeros in the schedule file 4/1/2007 rather than 04/01/2007

When I extract the mlb162_1.dat file from your 2007 schedule download, I see leading zeros...like 04/01/2007
DJEagles
I mean no disrespect, but why not just release a schedule, rather then a generator?

When I extract the mlb162_1.dat file from your 2007 schedule download, I see leading zeros...like 04/01/2007 Good point, I was comparing your file to the EA version. I guess that's not it then. I mean no disrespect, but why not just release a schedule, rather then a generator? Great mind think alike huh, I said the same thing myself a few pages back. Hory
I wasn't criticising you, it would be the most obvious thing to do rather go to all the trouble of making a generator.
tebjr
Hory, When you create a schedule, roughly about how long does it take?
Hory
A historical one I can do within a day if I'm keen as I can just convert it from an Out of the Park schedule. For those like 2006 & 2007 ones they take a lot longer as I have to manually compile and enter all the data. But you can do it all in excel which speeds things up a lot. tebjr
I was going to start one for the '88 season and was wondering what the time table was. Thanks.

Hory
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/board/show...?t=85752&page=5 If you want me to convert it, I can at some point, after I'm done with MVP 94 and finished the 1978 schedule for Jim825. Also, there's a 1987 schedule included in the '87 roster Bonny & Bhogg created which might do for the meantime. If you do want to convert it yourself remember to move one of the season opening games to Sunday otherwise there will be problems at the end of the season.
