Razr V3m question

This is probably a question I already know the answer to, but what the heck...

I recently got a Motorola Razr V3m, and my provider is Verizon. Will I be able to completely sync this to my computer (pics, MP3's etc), or is Verizon still blocking most of that stuff? Most of what I googled was inconclusive - some people said they could sync, some said they couldn't.

I had a V265 (worst phone I ever, EVER, had) before this, and they blocked most of the syncing on that (I didn't find out until AFTER I paid for the cable and Phonetools :wall: ).

Thanks

EDIT: minor grammatical thing

Thanks for that, but I am not looking to mod my phone (mostly because I know I would end up with a nice looking paperweight if I did).

I was just wondering if Verizon still blocked most syncing (sp?) functions. I know they did with my old phone, and I wanted to know if they were still doing it before I bought a compatible USB cable and software.

If you get a memory card for it, you can open the card with your computer and put movies, pictures, and music on it. Verizon sells a Music Essentials package at most of their stores. Go to a Verizon store and ask for the Music Essentials package and a memory card for your phone. The package includes headphones, software for synching musci(although I prefer just dragging my songs on to my memory card), and a USB cable. If you don't have the money to get a memory card, then you will have to use the music syncing software that comes in the pack. If all you are interested in is pictures and videos, all you need is a memory card, but I don't believe you can put them directly on to your phone.
