Fenway Park v.2.2 Released

The Big O

Recommended Posts

Well since I tweaked Oriole Park I decided to take a look at Fenway before the MVP 07 mod came out and the one complaint many people had was the infield dirt in the night version. I recolored the dirt so it should be less intense and easier to see the ball when hitting. Just like Oriole Park, I plan on updating Fenway after the season gets underway. There won't be any timetable as I am still semi-retired. I took a screenshot below to show the change:

Enjoy!

A crashing issue with the night version was brought to my attention. During the opposing team fielding lineup screen the game would crash so I resized some textures and it seems to have taken care of the problem. I always press a button to bypass that screen so it never crashed for me. I apologize for that, but hopefully version 2.2 fixes the problem.

BigO, both versions crash for me. It has to do with using 2x uniforms & cyberfaces at the same time. The stadium files seem to be too large to handle both the 2x uniforms & 2x cyberfaces plus the stadium. I tested it out by removing my models.big that I use (which has 2x uniforms) with the models.big cyberface only version that I have (which has only 2x updated cyberfaces but only the games default uniforms) & the game plays fine then.

I suggest you download my moser version models.big from the site (back up your own models.big & uniforms.big files first) & then try to play the game & you will see what I mean.

Yeah I was afraid of that, that's why I put the disclaimer on the readme. The only way around it is to kill the animated Citgo sign I guess, that's the biggest file in the cram32 that I can kill. The others can't be reduced without seeing a severe quality hit. I'll try doing that and if you'd PM me so I can get your info where to send it to, I'd like to have you test it out.

As always, all the stadium mods on this website are excellent! How long does it typically take a modder to make one?

If you are doing something where you are changing the wireframe and collision data of the stadium - hundreds of hours, literally.
