superdee
I am wondering if you can some how edit the ball trajectory coming out of a fielders hand... perhaps have it go in more of a straight line instead of a loop... I am trying to make the throw speed correlate a little more with the ball trajectory to make my throwing speed more realistic... Thank you... kgbaseball
I just raise the "User Throw Strength" slider to around 20. It's a lot more realistic.
superdee
hey kg, thanks for the reply... by chance what is your baserunner speed set at? I am trying to get a good scoring from second and throws from the OF in addition to infield hit possibilities...
kgbaseball
I think 10 for me, 8 for the CPU.
superdee
thanks again KG, you know I did some more searching and tried some other slider settings and I think what I really want now is the magic throw and run speed number... Not necessarily each one but rather the number between them... for instance, you suggested a throw speed +20 and a run speed of +8 to +10. That would put your magic number +10 to +12 throw speed... I want the balance to have an average runner score from 2nd on a consistent basis on a base-hit. I realize OF depth and OF speed impact this as well as individual ratings... So it maybe sometime before I figure with my own modified datafile what I can have for these settings... But so far my numbers are more negative towards arm speed, which would be opposite of your setting... I am playing currently with a -5 throw speed, and 12 BR speed, making my number -17 throw speed... a big difference indeed... I will do some more testing and then post my complete settings for reference and if anybody else is interested. thanks
