Where can I get a copy of the managers that are in the original installation?

If you are referring to the ones from the original game, you can grab them from the 1st CD. Grab the zip/winrar file and extract the database folder inside it. That should contain a manager.dat file. Hope this helps.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, you can open the manager.dat file using notepad.

I am not understanding how to get the managers from the original game.

1. Put in Disk # 1

2. Goto my computer -> right click on CD drive and hit explore

3. There should be a compressed.zip file in that folder

4. Drag that zip file and copy it on to your desktop

5. Now extract that file and inside it, you should see a database folder

6. The manager.dat file is located inside that database folder

7. If you open it using notepad, it will show you the original managers that the game provides you with

is it possible to change managers on a team. Like, can I put Joe Torre on the red sox and Francona on the Yankees if so, how?

Yes. You can modify the mangers of the team by changing it in the org.dat file (located in your database folder). The 12th value determines the manager ID. Hope that makes sense.

I am so sorry to keep bothering you, but how do i know what manager is on what team? Do i just switch the numbers. Does it just change the cyberface or does the portrait go to the new team also?

I am not sure what portrait you are talking about but say you want Francona managing the Yankees and Torre managing the Red Sox, all you would need to do is swap the 12th value for each team.

For the above example, you would do the following.

1. Open org.dat file using notepad

2. Goto the BOS organization line and go to the 12th value. It should be listed as -1606011825. Then goto the NYY organization and grab its 12th value. It should be -199940293.

3. Write the above 2 values down somewhere and just swap them.

That is it.

NOTE: I am using KG's rosters. If you are using someone else's rosters the values listed above may be different.

You don't have to do anything else, except for changing those values.
