BenD
I get this often when I manage a team. I find it interesting when a pitcher with a 2.x ERA is frustrated by individual performance! So what exactly does it mean and how can I fix it in players? Thanks.

Guest
Smack em in the Face .. Or just let em go in free Agency...Or Give them a 1 year 100 dollar deal :)
JP_Frost
I honestly have no clue...but I always ignore them anyway. If a 23 year old LRP who's gonna be a starter as soon as another pitcher is injured or gets released is questioning his motivation due to his invidual performance and/or playing time, then he better make sure he's has another team knocking on his door or else his *** is unemployed...believe you me
flash0788
Sometimes it's helped me to either put them on the trading block or send them down another level to AAA or AA. Also, you might look at what role your using them in, if you are using them as a closer maybe they just don't feel like that's where they fit in or if you use a guy as a setup man when maybe he's best suited to MRP. Of course sometimes you just get whiners and can't do anything about it but fire them. I notice that when I at least try though I get a better manager grade. Hope this helps! RsCamaro8
I usually put them on the trading block to shut them up... i mean, i've got David Riske complaining about his playing time, and well, everytime i play him, he blows the game... so why the hell would i play him more just cause he complains?? RobMac
if ive got a pitcher who is complaining then ill try to make an effort to keep their performances short and sweet... if im safe in a game or im well down then ill bring out the pitchers and try to give them a scoreless inning and then take them out... 2 or 3 safe performances will make them feel a bit better
qwert
i get those complaints all the time.. even though im playing him every game, there is still a report out there that says hes not happy with his playing time. what u gonna do
RobMac
if their already playing every day and they complain then you need to change their role... check their contract... if that still says every day then maybe move him up or down a spot in the batting lineup... or if he's a pitcher then change his position from long releif to mid releif or whatever it usually means the player needs a change of role to feel motivated

Emil
my closer is leading the league in saves, but is now saying he is unhappy with his playingtime / performance... wtf? Put him on the bench let him rest! And for the unhappy performence: he can't handle the pressure, so put him in a less stressfull situations! MarlinsFan
Pudge in my 2nd dynasty is always complaining about playing time, even though i've never substituded him in a game, am already halfway through the 2nd season, and hes hitting .285 lol @ 4,605 everyday contract apart from him everyone on my lineup has a green big smile pudge just has a grey :-| (put him on the trading block made him a bit happier)

ability
I'll usually slap there *** on the trading block, or if he complains a lot I'll bench him if he's a starter, or send him down to AAA. He'll be really pissed for a while, but when you bring him back up, you don't get an e-mail about him every 3rd day.
