i personally think that would be stupid. seriously if thats the case anyone who has a good season is "suspected" as will call it. how would u suspect in the game. its not like their appearence changes in dynasty ever.

I'm thinking it's possible. All you'd have to do is go into the .LOC files and change some of the text that involves players being suspended. All you do is change "suspended for his part in an altercation" to "suspended for testing positive for performance enhancing drugs." I bet it's possible to change the amount of games the player is suspended for, but I'm not sure how to do that.

I guess you could do it that way, and I'm sure that a datafile change is all that would be needed to change the length of the suspension (I don't know how to do it, though).

Would you want to though? I mean, I think the computer suspends people at random. Wouldn't it look weird to see "David Eckstein has been suspended for testing positive for performance enhancing drugs?" Or Jose Reyes?

I'm sure your modding experience led to your opinion on this...don't assume because....you know how it goes.

Hey, anything's possible. Remember Rafael Palmeiro?

Pitchers were being suspended last year for testing positive for PED's that a lot of people would not expect such a thing from them - partly, because no one ever heard of the tested players.

I think in attempting to make the game as realistic as possible a suspension for PED's would be a good idea to introduce in the game. Half-way through the season someone could loose Will Ohman from the Cubs for 50 games for using PED's. That would be hillarious!

If the mod becomes a reality you know certain #25 from a certain West Coast National League team is going down

The thing is, if I'm not mistaken, you cannot make a mod that suspends CERTAIN people, it's a random thing. The only things that can be changed are the wordings and length of the suspension. So you cannot guarantee that Bonds would be suspended.

If you're really desperate for it;

And I didn't modify the altercation text, so you can use this and still have players suspended for their part in an altercation. The limitations mentioned above still apply, however. This is my personal .loc file, so just make any changes you feel necessary using LocLook.

Well of course that guy should be suspended for violating the drug policy. I mean just look at him! He looks lit!! :)

I know him, he went to Stanford. He's a pretty cool guy, we talk to him often, and he would never do steroids.

He actually has a journal on MiLB.com: http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/fe...es/journals.jsp
