updating dynasty rosters

Ok... I am new at this, but can anyone give me advice on how to update my roster if i have a dynasty already in play? changes take effect outside my dynasty, (Exibisitons, new dynasties, etc.) but i cant seem to get them to change in the dynasty thats already in progress. help would be appreciated. thanks, everyone for working hard at modding this game! it seriously rocks..

Here's a coincidence: tywiggins created a program just for that, called the .dat exporter/importer. It should help with moving players around. If you just want to edit attributes during a dynasty, I suggest downloading tywiggins' MVP Editor. I'm currently using using to update ratings throughout my dynasty. It works great.

thanks kg. what I'm looking for is to update the rosters in my dynasty so they have the right people on the right teams. attributes would be nice, but I'm more concerned with actual players on the right teams. thanks.

When I use this to update the rosters, it doesn't keep the stats for my current dynasty. How do I do this so that it keeps the stats?

That's a good question. No point in using that method if it messes up the current stats.
