medric822
Ok, to hit homers mor often, you need to aim up with the arrow key. Up and left to hit the ball that direction, and up and right to hit the ball in that direction. If you have a gamepad, you aim with the right analog stick in the direction that you want the ball to be hit. Dosn't always work though. And, I'm not sure about this, but you may be able to adjust the CPU steal rate in the game tuning for rookie.

I went out and bought my controller at best buy, but they have them at tons of places, just about anyplace that sells computer games should have them. medric822
Yeah, kinda. Thats one without the analog sticks. Those make the game much easier. Here is a site that should help you. I bought the rumble pad. Its awesome! I bought it straight from Logitech, since Walmart didn't have one, and I didn't think about Bestbuy.

fastball83
I'am able to bat on the playground but always too short of the home run, what that mean ? does I bat too late ? too soon ? ........
theshadeofice
wait on a pitch, especially on rookie mode. and try to bat with a lefty against a righty. and also, don't rush yourself, time your swing. you can check with a replay whether you were too fast or too late. some good pitches to hit for a home run for a lefty from a righty are : - fastball in - changeup in and up - 2-seamer in and up - curveball that drifts inside (ie 10-4 trajectory)
kaplerisking
if oyu have an xbox 360 wired controller you can use that as a controller Can you really? I had no idea. I'll have to start using my 360 controller instead of my ancient Logitech Wingman then. Edit: So I just installed my 360 controller, but as I'm sure you all know there is no way to select which button does the pickoff throw with a controller....anyone know how to do it with the 360 controller?
