plunger021
I love these rosters and would love to play a dynasty with them, but I also love savreader. Will this work with savreader because I keep getting that overflow error message.
kgbaseball
The last I heard, there was no solution for the runtime error. That was last month, I think.

kgbaseball
Well, apparently you fixed whatever the problem was for UR, but I don't know why mine would cause a problem.
lautrec
Well, apparently you fixed whatever the problem was for UR, but I don't know why mine would cause a problem. From what I've tested, the only roster that will work (at least for me) is UR 8.0. That's very nice, but it's only up to date as far as Oct 06. Later version(s), UR 8.1, etc. have NOT worked with SavReader for me. Niether has your rosters, kgbaseball. Why? Good question.... Here's what I DO know concerning this dilemma many of us seem to be having. 1-It seems I get the overflow error right at the point of reading manager offsets. I have tried changing the mgr dat file, first before starting a dynasty (with the one that works from UR 8.0), then AFTER it's stareted with same. No worky. 2-I tried getting all teams rosters filled, to 100 per organization, since that is the way they are in UR 8.0. No worky. 3-I do have all the patches 1 through 5 applied, and everything (except savreader with certain rosters) works fine. I have read that patch 4 or 5 causes the savreader not to work. If that 's the case, then why does UR 8.0 roster work for me? Those are some of the observations I've made. I would be interested in knowing if anyone out here has gotten a later produced roster other than Ur 8.0 to work with savreader, and if they have, what patches have they applied. I sure hope we can figure this out. ****NOTE: I've also edited with MVP Editor, UR 8.0 rosters, to reflect all the changes the Royals made up to mid-January 07. This worked fine with savreader. Do you suppose there's a way to "capture" what was done with UR 8.0, and expand on that, since it seems to work with savreader? Just a thought. oxbay
I'm using kg's latest roster with patch 3. I've spent the last hour or so working with MVPSavReader and I'm not having any luck. I am trying every possible variation I can think of. Anyone else having luck?
Hory
I'm 99% sure this will be fixed in kgbaseball's next roster release.
lautrec
I'm 99% sure this will be fixed in kgbaseball's next roster release. kgbaseball's rosters are fantastic, unfortunately, I've never gotten one of them to work with savreader. Hopefully, this will pan out like you said. Just out of curiosity, has anyone had any response from SavReader author, RichKo? I've gone to his site to see about this, but it's not been updated in some time.
