ntdgg711
I was playing a Dynasty game against the Twins where Joe Mauer got hurt and was supposed to be out for 9 days. I played the Twins again the next day and somehow he was in the lineup! How did that happen? After the game, I went to look at the Twins injury report and Mauer was on there with 5 injury days left. Anyone have that happen before?
xiberger
Yeah, that has happened to me in the past as well. I think it's related to type of injury. It seems the CPU can still use the player, if the injury isn't too bad.
DoubleD
Was he DH? Like xiberger said, it depends on how severe the injury is. If they injury isn't too severe, players can still play the DH position but can't play defensive positions.
Sandlot
Same thing happened with me playing the Bo Sox in the postseason, and it was Ortiz.

Ok, so if the CPU can do it, can I do it too when my player gets hurt - use him as DH I mean? I can't imagine that I could considering the player name disappears from the Batting Order screen under Team Managemnt until he's no longer hurt. Unless I'm missing something. DoubleD
I *think* the only way users can do it is by the CPU optomized roster option (I simmed through a bunch of seasons before, always clicking CPU optomized roster, and had injured players play DH), which then ofcoarse fucks up the rest of your roster if you have it set like you want it to be. Though if you're only playing one season, it shouldn't be that big of a deal to do it since the minors don't mean that much, and it's not that difficult to re-produce your MLB team's roster. edit: but also, this probably only works for small injuries that only takes a player out for a few days
