sjbushido
Hi guys, http://www.apple.com/ipodnano/ I was just wondering if any of you guys have this mp3 player. My mp3 player has sadly passed away a few weeks ago. I've read some extensive reviews of many mp3 players from the late James Kim. It appears that the IPOD Nano is very popular. If any of you do have it, how much did you guys get it for. I'm trying to get it for a decent price; however, everywhere seems to be selling them in the range of $140. (1gig/2gig). Also what company has a cheap yet very effective FM transmitter for Ipods? Cheap as in around >$20. Thanks for the feedback, sjbushido

Sandlot
I just bought the green 4gb. Make sure you get the second generation nano, not the first gen (the one that you posted). Oh and I like mine so far.
lautrec
I bought one for one of my daughters this year for Christmas. It's the 4GB model, and it is very easy to operate, and performs well. The synching up of music is a little clunky, and not particularly responsive, but that may merely be me. One of my other daughters has an IRiver, and while it is a bigger unit physically, and not quite as user friendly as the Nano, it does seem easier to get the music to it. marinerschas2
if money is a concern, check out the apple refurbished ipods, usually a pretty good discount. still get the 1 year warranty, and among what ever else they refurbish, you get a fresh battery too. i bought a 30gig video in september from there, its very nice and helps me for the 6 hours every morning at work. http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebO...&nclm=Certified thats the link, check it out. comes directly from apple
krawhitham
SanDisk Sansa 1GB/2GB $60-$140 sound better, you are not forced to use i-tunes software, has a MicroSDâ„¢ Slot for extra capacity if needed, has built in FM, & smaller
evil1182
I just bought the silver 2gig from Bestbuy for $150, It's not bad the battery life is pretty good so far and they have podcasts from ESPN for free and updates everyday at 11am(updates to late, sucks for the morning commute though)

abc006
I have a Zune so I wouldn't know.Actually, I'm interested in how you think that stacks up to the iPod, or at least how good it is for you. I've heard both good and bad reviews about the Zune, what do you think KC?
Kccitystar
Actually, I'm interested in how you think that stacks up to the iPod, or at least how good it is for you. I've heard both good and bad reviews about the Zune, what do you think KC? Well, the Zune is great for me, I was already using the Zune software to share my videos with the XBOX360 before I sold it off, so I'm familiar with the software. However one thing that kind of ticked me off was when I sync'ed it to my computer all of a sudden it added all my songs into the Zune, lol I was frustrated. However a simple change of settings did the trick. All in all, the Zune is cool, I feel people give it bad reviews because it isn't made by Apple

sjbushido
so would $139 + 10% off (employee discount) be a fair price for a 2gig ipod silver nano, or should i wait for a better sale?
