twistoffate
Hey everyone Please forgive me if this question has been answered somewhere else, but I cant seem to find it..anyways.. I've been trying to create my own cyberface but have been having some issues with it. First the game would crash everytime I tried to edit /view the player with the new cyber face, but I guess its because the file wasnt compressed or something so I got that working.. But now the new cyber face is just completely red with green letters going across it.. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I read somewhere on here about adding metal bin and name to the Fsh file, I tried that, but still no luck. I've been messing around with this for hours now, and I can't figure it out. I've done all the orb orl and oedit stuff.. maybe I'm missing a step or something? I set the fsh settings to 78 | 120 ..and its 16pp ...128 x 256.. I also noticed the file size of the fsh file is 64.0 and not 64.1, I don't know if that matters or not..but I cant seem to get it any bigger.. Any help would be appreciated Thanks
Gordo
Since this is along the same vein, exporting that is, I'm going to jump in here with some adjunct questions. What is best to use to change over/export when not using the included .bat file? I mean is bigGUI better than EAGraph? And if a cyberface maker says to use a certain number slot, but clearly someone is already in that slot, how do you create a new slot? I guess the bottomline question is how do you export and reassure that the face you're installing is unique for that player without tainting another player and that the game won't crash? krawhitham
you can not create a new slot, if you have one of the downloaded models.big files then all slots are taken. You will have to replace a face both BigGUI & EAGraph blow, they worked great in MVP 2003 but the BIG format has since been tweaked and the programs were not updated. So every once in a while BigGUI & EAGraph will screw up a BIG file for MVP 2005
Gordo
ok kraw that's understandable.....what confuses me though is where is the game drawing the cyberfaces from? That is, when you use Graph or GUI, you're saving to your models file. But when you use MVPEdit, you're exporting to your DAT files. Or are they interdependent?
