JP_Frost
I often have the leader with 220 k's which means he pitched 240 innings. It sucks for relievers as well: MR pitches 100+ innings with about 60 k's, CL pitch 40 innings with about 30-40 k's. I wish I'd see Nathan for example pitching 75 innings with 98 strikeouts. There is no way to mod this right?
DoubleD
Most K's I've gotten on All Star/MVP setting was 10-12 with Willis and Olsen. I don't get many K's with Nolasco, Johnson, and Sanchez though. I've also had a 27 K game with rookie setting with Willis in a Exhibition game. Doesn't really mean anything since it was rookie setting and I pitched the game for strikeouts rather than outs/to win, but it was still fun. Only problem is, it's TOO challenging for me, when I have difficulty on the AllStar level. I guess I'll just slowly practice. That's what I did in NBA Live 07, and I can play on the hardest level easily. It really comes down to how much you play and for how long you've played. I play MVP setting during the season because I play a game almost everyday. During the offseason, I only play a couple times a month and this throws off a lot of my timing and muscle memory so I have to play on All-star setting. I'm with KG and Ron though, I like the challenge of the MVP setting. It can suck when getting completly blown out but there's also a lot more close games that make playing the game more exciting. RmembrZito75
I struck out 14 with Johan Santana on pro.
theshadeofice
The problem is that while Santana's changeup is a great strikeout pitch, perhaps the best there is in real life, in the game hitters make too much contact with the changeup and the only way i use his changeup is to change its trajectory to 2-8 and use it like a mini-slider. But on topic, the most i've struck out in a game is with (ironically) Santana, I think I had something like 16 strikeouts, but 13~14 of them were through his slider because the lineup was all right-handed. stcardinal
Highest I've ever gotten was 15 or 16 with Matt Cain from the Giants.
AstroEric
I got 20 in 10 innings against the Pirates with Roy Oswalt. On the 20th strikeout, he blew his arm though.
